The Academy of Medical Sciences in collaboration with the British Academy, the Royal Academy of Engineers, and the Royal society invites researchers from various fields to submit applications for the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF) grant.

The Global Challenges Research Funds seeks collaboration between researchers from the UK and developing African countries across various disciplines, in a bid to come up with cutting edge interdisciplinary research towards solving problems in  developing countries. It also seeks to ensure that these grants provide opportunities for researchers to develop new collaborations and improve interaction between researchers while building a community of researchers that can submit high quality applications for other GCRF funding calls.

Applicants are eligible to a grant up to the sum of £25,000 and must have completed a PhD or have an equivalent with proven experience in their research area of interest. The call for application closes on the 10th of September, 2020.
