The African Scholars’ Forum is set to host its first ever webinar on July 31st 2020. The organisation aims to bring together scholars from Africa to create a space for mentoring, training and supporting a new generation of scholars. In pursuance of these objectives, the organise has launched a series of webinars in which senior researchers will interact with doctoral and early career researchers. The inaugural webinar will address the topic: ‘How to write an excellent thesis’ webinar. The session looks to provide useful advice and guidance to help doctoral researchers with their writing.
The webinar will address the followings:
- The requirements and elements of writing a doctoral thesis
- How to assess what you have currently achieved and what is left to do
- Guidance on developing the structure and content of your thesis
- Useful tips and strategies for planning, scheduling and completing the writing of your thesis
The webinars aims to be highly participatory, with opportunities for participants to ask questions and interact with the excellent line up of speakers and panelists:
