The dynamics of the 21st century, knowledge economy and advent of the industry 4.0 have among other things upended this assumption. Transferable scientific skills and knowledge are becoming progressively valued in non-academic job sectors. However, navigating job opportunities and transitioning to different career paths can be difficult. In the next instalment of the ASF webinar holding on 30th September, we will be hosting two panellists Sunday .A. Leonard and Adetayo Omoni, PhD- who have excelled in their respective careers outside of academia to explore this topic.
